A magnificent historical complex surrounded by a large green area in the center of Rome, the Casale di San Pio V.
Built from the middle of the sixteenth century on behalf of Pope Ghisleri, that made it its festive residence, at the beginning of the twentieth century becomes the home of the first school for the blind in the Kingdom of Italy that the then Queen Margaret called to direct Augusto Romagnoli, pioneer of a model of education specifically designed for blind pupils.
